Clean Stove

We will implement a clean stove project in Kenya, replacing traditional stoves fueled by wood and charcoal with clean, environmentally friendly and efficient solar stoves. The project will cover 56,000 local households and install 56,000 solar cookers.

Solar stove uses solar energy as energy source, it is green and low-carbon. The villagers no longer need to purchase firewood or charcoal to make fires for cooking. This will help them save living expenses and avoid the smoke, carbon monoxide and other harmful substances produced by burning wood and charcoal, improve the cooking environment and reduce health threats. During the implementation of the project, we will also provide training for local young people to master the installation and maintenance skills of solar stoves, which will provide them with certain employment opportunities and broaden their future possibilities.

The project aims to improve the living standards and quality of local villagers through the use of solar stoves, while effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
